User activity
User activity on Instagram is what a person does on the platform, including liking posts, commenting and spending time in the app.12 Your Activity, accessible through the top-right menu on a person’s profile, lets people review past likes, comments and other interactions to find posts again.12 It also provides access to archives, highlights, time-spent information and items previously marked Not Interested.1 For creators looking at their followers’ activity rather than their own, Adam Mosseri recommended in June 2026 using Insights to see when followers are online.3
Reviewing activity on Instagram
Instagram’s Your Activity makes past interactions accessible: Mosseri explained in April 2025 that its Likes area helps people find posts they liked a couple of days or a week earlier, and that they can also review comments and other interactions.1 He described further information available there, including archives, highlights, time-spent information and items previously marked Not Interested.1 To examine followers’ activity rather than their own history, creators can consult Insights, which Mosseri recommended in June 2026 for seeing when followers are online.3
